This work i based on the early 19th-century cyanotype prints (treated paper with objects, like plants) placed on it and exposed to sunlight) of William Henry Fox Talbot. Photographic pioneer Talbot called these prints "photographic drawings." See the distinctive texture in the detail image. This is a negative image made black and white.
